I-LEAP Integrated Learning Acupressure Programme
What is it?
I-LEAP is used effectively for a range of conditions in children and adults, with consistent success to enhance human potential. I-LEAP has evolved since 1985 in conjunction with clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, neurologists and other health professionals, as a very effective programme for the correction of most learning difficulties and for enhancing performance under stress. I-LEAP is based on a new model of learning, integrating recent concepts in neurophysiology of the brain and uses highly specific acupressure and energetic techniques to resolve the stresses leading to a loss of brain integration, resulting in a return to normal function.
How does it work?
I-LEAP is a method of integrating brain function through the use of muscle biofeedback and an integrated acupressure protocol. This enables the practitioner to locate and diffuse stress within specific brain areas. This will often show as a loss of neural synchronization, or as what we recognise as learning difficulties. When specific acupressure points are stimulated, the integrity and pathways in the brain can become more functional and efficient. The results of this brain integration, enhances performance and may be life changing.
Who can it help?
Children and adults with:
- Dyslexia
- Learning Difficulties
- Dyspraxia
- Attention Deficit Disorder
- Lack of self esteem and confidence
- Reading and writing difficulties
- Difficulty with maths
- Emotional problems( frustration, depression and aggressive behaviour)
- PTSD ( Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
- Poor or lack of concentration
- Poor memory and recall
- Fears such as fear of failure, public speaking etc.
It improves and enhances:
- Body co-ordination and sports performance
- Decision making
- Creativity
And so much more….
The Founder of LEAP:
Dr Charles T. Krebs PHD developed the programme and has been working worldwide with the application of muscle bio- feedback and acupressure techniques to correct specific learning problems for over 20 years, helping many people to fulfill their true potential and then changing their lives. Charles’ background is in science, both as a research scientist and university lecturer, with over twenty years of clinical experience. He is also the author of two books, ‘A Revolutionary Way of Thinking’ and ‘Nutrition for the Brain’.

M’s LEAP sessions seem to have lasted. In class I have seen that since the LEAP sessions M’s concentration and listening skills have improved. Moreover, she has kept up the pace and now will pick up a book and read freely with fluency and accuracy to the class, where before she would not do this. M has a greater concentration span in class and will do the work set for every body without the need for differentiation. M’s mother told me that M now reads more with her own free will, at breakfast and on the weekends. Moreover, M is also writing and she showed me a story which M wrote for me. As M’s class teacher I do believe that the LEAP sessions have helped her enormously and I have seen the transition from a shy child to a confident child with her peers and academically.
